At New Community, our vision is “to love and prepare generations to passionately follow Christ everyday.” A follower of Christ is a disciple of Christ–a lifelong learner of Jesus’ teachings. We were never meant to follow Jesus alone, but to do life with others.
Community Groups are missional communities that multiply disciples of Jesus. This means a Community Group is a gathering of Christ followers that are being spiritually transformed through the reading of God’s Word, living out biblical fellowship as a family, and intentionally pursuing mission for the purpose of demonstrating and declaring the gospel to specific neighborhoods and networks in and around Morris. We want everyone to be a part of a Community Group to experience the family of God in real ways and continually grow as disciples who love Jesus and love one another more every day.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another…” Hebrews 10:24-25

We want everyone to be a part of a Community Group to experience a spiritual family that is being transformed by the gospel, sharing life together, and serving a neighborhood or network in/around Morris. To get connected to a group, fill out a connect form (found below) and we will follow up with you within a week:
